What We Do:
Our core group activity is offering twice weekly meetings for men in the locality who might feel the need for some regular company in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Our members come from a wide background and have differing reasons for wanting to come along to the meetings for a chat over a cuppa but occasionally we’d like to offer the guys something a bit different to look forward to.
Ozzell Bowl:
One of the things we’ve enjoyed previously is going along to the local ten pin bowling alley and a session there was something the group wanted to do again so, funded by the generous grant the group was awarded recently by Cornwall Community Foundation, some of the guys went along to Ozzell Bowl in St Austell for a few hours of fun and entertainment. Cornwall Community Foundation:
Kernow Men’s Society made a grant application to CCF to cover various aspects of the group’s activities of which bowling was one so it was only via CCF’s support that we were able to fund the bowling outing.
CCF do great work within Cornwall helping local community groups via grant funding and we’d like to thank them again for their kind and generous support.
